Field-assembled cooling towers > Ben-Gurion International Airport
Year: 2000
Construction Material: FRP and HDG
Water Flow: 3,600 m3/hr
In 1999, YWCT was asked to plan and build a cooling tower for the new terminal at Ben-Gurion Airport (TLV). A concrete basin elevated from the ground was designed. The basin's height increased the efficiency of the pumps; and the space under the basin is utilized for storage. An HDG structure covered with pultruded FRP was erected over the basin
